The Board and Committees
The projects and activities of the Government House Historical Society Incorporated are overseen by its Board of Directors. The Board may consist of as few as ten members or as many as twelve. The Society usually functions with a twelve member WORKING Board. The activities and terms of office of the Board members are governed by the Society by-laws, last updated in 2006.
The 2010 Board of Directors is made up of the following individuals:

Each project of the Society has a Director who is responsible for the coordination of that project. Elaine Giroux-Sylvestre is responsible for Membership and Jocko’s Club; Ann Grahame is editor of Portico, the quarterly newsletter; Jacqueline Wight oversees the Victorian Tea Room; Janice Routley and Isabelle Zohner are responsible for the Antiquities, Artifacts and Art event; Louise trudelle is the Board liason with Coquette’s Gift Shop. Former Board members Gail Bradley and Lena Woolley plan the Dickens Christmas concerts and former Board member Sheila Carson is the Tea Room co-ordinator.
