Dickens Yuletide Singers Concerts At Government House

Since December 2001, yearly concerts have been held at Government House.  They feature the Dickens Yuletide Singers in traditional costumes of the Dickens era.

The Dickens Singers are a group of twelve enthusiastic singers under the direction of Dianne Burrows. The performances take place in the beautifully decorated ballroom of Government House. This setting,  together with the colorful costumes, capture the “magic” of the Christmas season.

On a weekend in December, the Singers present two concerts both on  Saturday and Sunday. Each year, they have had sold out performances  which celebrate the season in song and story. Refreshments are served after each concert. The audience is also encouraged to take a tour of  Government House to see it “decked “ out in its holiday splendor.
